Einstein was onto something when he said that ‘play is the highest form of research’. So, as we dive into the science and magic of how food and wine play together, we plan to have fun doing so, and include all our senses in the game.
Bosman Hermanus is the playground for the day, an idyllic outpost in the Upper-Hemel-en-Aarde Valley: Surrounded by vineyards, mountains, forests and the ocean, we will gain inspiration and knowledge from nature around us, foraging seasonal plants to learn from.
Chef Rickey Broekhoven and Sommelier Sasha van Zyl will be your personal guides for this intimate adventure.
We will start with a sensorial play table, where Sommelier Sasha will lead a tasting ‘masterclass’ to build on your knowledge of smells, flavours, and tasting basics. Chef Rickey Broekhoven will be curating a 3-course food and wine pairing, where the sole aim is to satiate your senses. Expect pure indulgence and enjoyment.
Our aim is for you to have fun, and to take with you an enhanced confidence in your palate and knowledge of flavours both in food and wine, and a deliciously full tummy.
